Custom Room Cleaning Settings

Provides options to configure specific, customized cleaning settings for each individual room saved on the map.

While the integration populates these individual settings as dedicated entities, this section features an interactive map editor. This visual interface provides an easy way to select rooms and configure their settings directly on the map, eliminating the need to search through hundreds of entities in Home Assistant.

Customized Cleaning

Provides options to independently set specific suction levels, water volume and the number of cleaning passes for every single room in the house.

How to Access

This page is accessed from Cleaning Settings (). However, if the CleanGenius feature is turned on, this item becomes completely hidden and inaccessible.

Unlike the official Dreame app this card provides access to this page and its settings at any time, even when the customized cleaning mode itself is inactive.

Enabling Customized Cleaning

For these room-specific configurations to actually take effect during a task, the global Customized Cleaning () mode, represented by switch.customized_cleaning, must be enabled. This mode can be easily toggled on or off directly from the Cleaning Settings () on the Home Screen.

Cleaning Sequence

Provides options to define the exact order in which rooms are cleaned during tasks. Dragging and dropping rooms within the list adjusts the sequence.

How to Access

On devices supporting the CleanGenius feature, this page is accessed via the main Menu () in the top right corner of the Home Screen. On devices without CleanGenius, the sequence configuration is added to the Cleaning Settings () list to match their app behavior.

While this predefined sequence generally applies to both global and room cleaning tasks, on devices supporting dynamic room priority, room cleaning tasks prioritize the explicit selection order over this predefined sequence.

Furthermore, on devices enforcing a strict sequence, every single room must have an assigned order number. On devices that do not enforce a strict sequence, rooms can be left unassigned. In this case, the robot cleans the unassigned rooms at the very end, dynamically picking the closest one.

Mop Type

On devices supporting the Auto Mop Change feature, this setting assigns a specific type of mop pad to each individual room.

How to Access

This page is primarily accessed from Mopping Settings (). Additionally, this configuration is also accessible directly from the Cleaning Sequence () page room list, which conveniently displays the assigned mop type next to each room.

Optimize the Sequence

Ordering the cleaning sequence so that rooms using the same mop type are cleaned consecutively maximizes efficiency. This prevents the robot from wasting time constantly returning to the base station to swap mop pads.

Enabling Auto Change Mop

For these room-specific configurations to actually take effect during a task, the global Auto Change Mop () feature, represented by switch.auto_change_mop, must be enabled.
